By creating an account, using the F1Alerts platform, or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
F1Alerts is an independent, privately operated monitoring and notification service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the US Embassy, the US Government, the US Department of State, the US Consulate, any Indian Visa Application Centre (VAC), or any visa authority.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.
F1Alerts is a monitoring and alert delivery service. It periodically checks for available F-1 visa appointment slots at Indian VACs and US Consulates using your personal CheckVisaSlots access code, and notifies you via email and/or phone call when slots are detected.
F1Alerts does not:
Slot availability is highly volatile. A slot detected and alerted may be filled within seconds. F1Alerts is not responsible for slots that disappear before you are able to book them.
F1Alerts fetches slot data using your personal CheckVisaSlots access code — a credential issued to you by CheckVisaSlots when you create your own account with them. By providing your access code, you authorise F1Alerts to use it solely for the purpose of fetching slot availability data on your behalf.

If CheckVisaSlots suspends your account, changes their API, or your sessions run out, F1Alerts will be unable to monitor slots. This is not a failure of F1Alerts and does not entitle you to a refund.
Your access code is stored in encrypted form and is used exclusively to call the CheckVisaSlots API. It is never shared with third parties.
The Email + Calls plan (₹220 / 30 days) includes phone call alerts delivered via Twilio's programmable voice service. By subscribing to this plan and providing your phone number, you:
These calls are transactional/service communications, not unsolicited marketing. F1Alerts is not liable for calls that are not received due to device settings, carrier filtering, or network issues.
F1Alerts relies on the following third-party services, which are independent of us:
Outages, changes, or failures of any of these services are outside our control and do not constitute a breach of these terms by F1Alerts.
F1Alerts offers two plans, both prepaid and non-recurring for a fixed 30-day period:
There is no automatic renewal. Your subscription expires at the end of the 30-day period and you may choose to renew manually. Access is activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation from Cashfree.
Refund policy: If F1Alerts is unavailable for more than 3 consecutive days from your purchase date due to reasons within our control, you are entitled to a prorated refund for the remaining unused days. To claim, email us your payment ID at f1alertsindia@gmail.com. Downtime caused by CheckVisaSlots, your access code, or your session count does not qualify.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts found in violation of these terms, without notice and without refund.
F1Alerts is provided on a best-effort basis without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of slot data or alert delivery.
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, F1Alerts shall not be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability to you under any circumstances shall not exceed the subscription amount you paid for the 30-day period during which the issue occurred.
We collect your name, email address, phone number, and CheckVisaSlots access code for the sole purpose of operating the service. Your access code is stored encrypted and never shared. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
By using F1Alerts, you consent to the collection and processing of this data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time. If the service is permanently discontinued, active paid subscribers will receive a prorated refund for unused days.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where applicable. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
